I think, in these days of busyness and isolation, these five basic lifestyle enhancers can be easy to overlook.
Hat tip to MK.
1. Connect with others
2. Be Physically Active
3. Be Mentally Curious
4. Learn Something New
5. Give to Others
So if I chat with you, go to the gym, read a book, search the net, write a poem and volunteer I should be just fine, right? Good pointers!
ReplyDeleteSounds good! I was hoping on-line interaction counted, myself! :D
ReplyDeletehere are 5 other things as well one can do:
ReplyDeleteSay prayers daily, especially the Holy Rosary
Get involved with Church activities and charities
Foster a child
Get to Mass every Sunday
Light candles in your Church for the homeless, the ill and the poor and the Holy Souls in Purgatory pray for the conversion of the entire world and pray for forgiveness of sins, and repentance of sinners world wide. Pray for the Holy Father and our entire Church.
Thanks for the reminder, Marilena!
ReplyDeleteGreat post..
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie!
ReplyDeleteI would agree with this however (IMHO) I think number one should be daily prayer including time for complete silence before God, just "being" with Him. Then then the other five. Great post and list otherwise...food for thought.

Oh, I agree, Cubfan. Prayer first. Then the other five.
