Hear my voice, O God, as I complain.
~Psalm 64:1
I love this translation of this psalm verse! "Here my voice, O God, as I complain"!! God can, at the same time, be the Almighty in the heavens, and, someone we go to occasionally to "complain."

Interesting. The Hebrew word being translated is שִׂיחַ siyach, trans;ated as: meditation, complaint, musing, plaint.
ReplyDeleteSome Psalm 64:1 translations:
Hear, O God, my voice, in my meditation, From the fear of an enemy Thou keepest my life,
Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
Thanks for that info!
