Scripture Saturday

Hear my voice, O God, as I complain.
~Psalm 64:1

I love this translation of this psalm verse!  "Here my voice, O God, as I complain"!!  God can, at the same time, be the Almighty in the heavens, and, someone we go to occasionally to "complain."

  1. Interesting. The Hebrew word being translated is שִׂיחַ siyach, trans;ated as: meditation, complaint, musing, plaint.

    Some Psalm 64:1 translations:

Hear, O God, my voice, in my meditation, From the fear of an enemy Thou keepest my life,

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
