If she's still on the throne at age 90, she'll be the Longest. Reigning. British. Monarch. Ever! Since the Queen Mum lived to triple digits, I'd say the chances are pretty good.
And Chuck can keep the engine running, as he has all his life. (P.S. Every time I see Camilla Parker-Bowles, I can't help thinking, "He left Diana for THAT?!")
Dymphna:) I have seen it and IT is very good as it shows the Queen warts and all. Even to the extent of what happens when the royal elevator breaks down and you see the Queen hanging over the edge of the stair case watching Prince Philip try and sort out the confusion.
I had to tape it on ordinary TV station and so the reception is not good and is a bit fuzzy, hence I want to by the DVD if there is one.
But also if you need a laugh head over to my blog where I have a segment on one of my favourite British comedies.

I like the queen. She's a class act. Happy Birthday to her.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday from one Quene to another!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth II is very fortunate to have doctors caring for her so she may live longer than I did...
Thank you so much for visiting and commenting, Your Magesty!
ReplyDeleteNote: I have added the blog for Marye the Quene on my blog roll, but for some reason there is no longer access to it.
