on my tongue
I taste the bitter words--
potent medicine.

Oh Where, Oh Where Has The Curry Powder Gone?

Oh where, oh where can it be?
I have searched Gettysburg today and no one sells curry powder in containers bigger than an inch high and *that* one was over $4.
Ridiculous.
I want one a LOT bigger than that, and for less than $4!
As my grandmother used to say: "People don't know what to charge for things anymore."
Maybe we should all be hording curry powder as future currency.

Happy Birthday, Rebecca!
My sister changed her mind on a name after my niece was born. She went from Emily Rebecca pre-natally to Rebecca Noel. I kept calling her Emily by mistake.
At 23, she's been out of college, working and living on her own for a year, and plans to go to law school.
We're proud of you, Rebecca!
