Today is Fred Roger's Birthday. He would have been 81 years old today, had he not died of cancer in 2003.Family Communications, Inc. of Pittsburgh sponsors Mr. Roger's Sweater Day every March 20th in honor of the children's television host, musician and Christian minister. They ask that you wear your favorite sweater today, and make a special effort to be neighborly.
