It's about time

Cal Ripken, Jr., famous Baltimore Oriole and the last professional sports person with a work ethic, has been elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame. No one deserves it more.

  1. Cal and his wife are wonderful members of our community here in MD. Model citizens. What a work ethic. PRay for his wife who has something like Graves Disease" (I cant remember). Anyway, its NICE to have Dymphna in the wee hours of the morning when I woke up early and cant sleep!

  2. I didn't know his wife was ill. I'll pray for her. Thanks for letting us know.

  3. He may be great guy, but he did more to harm his ball club and stifle opportunity than one could ever imagine. Generally speaking, baseball players tend to loathe him more than admire. A work ethic is good, but overwork is self-abuse and neglect of others. After all, a man reaps what he sows. We should evaluate how traumatic has it been for his loved ones.
